The MSK5052RH Radiation Hardened, Adjustable Output Switching Regulators are soon to be available in Class “K”, "H" or industrial versions. The MSK5052RH offers a wide input and output voltage range with 4.5A output current capability. The 500KHz constant switching frequency can be synchronized to an external signal via the SYNC pin. External compensation allows the device to be tailored to a wide variety of applications. The MSK5052 is a high efficiency regulator that requires minimal output capacitance. The regulator can be turned on and off remotely via the shutdown pin for meeting power sequencing requirements. Short circuit current limit and thermal shutdown features provide fault protection. Radiation performance curves for TID testing will be generated for all radiation testing performed by MS Kennedy. The MSK5058RH Radiation Hardened, Step Down Switching Regulator Controllers capable of delivering up to 2A of current to the load will soon be available in Class “K”, "H" or industrial versions. These Regulator Controllers offer a user selectable switching frequency between 200KHz and 2.4MHz allowing for the use of smaller inductors minimizing the required board space for a given design while improving efficiency. The MSK5058RH switching frequency can also be synchronized to an external signal via the SYNC pin. The ability to shutdown the regulator via the Run/SS pin and the power good output simplify power sequencing. The 2A integrated switch leaves only a few application specific components to be selected by the designer. 1.28.2010 New Silicon Carbide Half Bridge PEM Offers 1200V and 100A Capability for Severe Environments

The MSK4804 SiC half bridge is available with modified MIL-PRF-38534 Class "E", "H", or industrial screening. This device is one of a family of plastic encapsulated modules (PEM) developed specifically for use in military, aerospace and other severe environment applications. The SiC (Silicon Carbide) technology has superior switching performance compared to Si-Based modules. The 1200V/100A performance is achieved using low inductance power lugs and "First-in, Last-out rule" layout design. The high thermal conductivity Silicon Nitride substrate provides excellent heat transfer from the power die to the heat sink, which results in lower junction temperature and increased reliability. The Aluminum Silicon Carbide (ALSiC) baseplate offers high thermal conductivity, low weight and is pre-bowed for excellent flatness after mounting. Our proprietary coating, SEESTM-Severe Environment Encapsulation System provides near-hermetic encapsulation that withstands High Accelerated Stress Test (HAST), which assures long term reliability and makes the MSK4804 an attractive option for high reliability PEM applications.

1.28.2010 100V 20A H-Bridge PWM Motor Driver/Amplifier

The MSK4206 is a complete H-Bridge microcircuit intended for use in DC brushed motors control application or Class D switch-mode amplification in severe operating conditions. The MSK4206 can be used as a drop in replacement for the APEX SA01 in applications that do not utilize the thermal limit feature. All of the drive/control circuitry, including an error amplifier, is internal to the device. A precision reference voltage is provided for offsetting the error amplifier. Fixed high-side current limit is provided internally. Low-side current limit is user controlled with the use of an external resistor network. MIL-PRF-38534 screening for both Class “E” and “H”, an operating temperature range of –55C to 125C, and a hermetically sealed 10 pin power package make the MSK4206 an attractive option for high reliability motor control applications.
