Description
The MSK5985RH (Radiation Hardened) 2.8A adjustable LDO linear regulator is available in MIL-PRF-38534 Class "K", Class “H”, or industrial versions. The MSK5985RH offers low dropout down to 300mV and an output voltage range down to zero volts and is radiation hardened for space applications. By using an internal reference current the output voltage is selected by the user through the use of a single external resistor. Additionally, the regulator offers internal short circuit current and thermal limiting, which allows circuit protection and eliminates the need for external components and excessive derating.
The MSK5985RH can be paralleled allowing the MSK5985RH to serve higher current applications. The MSK5985RH is offered in a hermetically sealed 5 pin TO-258, that is electrically isolated from the internal circuitry allowing for direct heat sinking, with customer selected straight up or down pin configurations.
